so last week i was going to clean up the mess..its still around and i feel like even worse..there is something about the change of seasons that gets me in the mood for an overhaul...i have "back to school fever" except, a new trapper keeper isn't going to fix things..i need to clear out old magazines, switch my office around, get new office supplies, get my haircut/highlighted, exercise regularly, clean out the fridge, change my inspiration board around, go to the dentist,dermatologist, ect..

rikshaw design made it in small magazine (see our cute bombay elephant pillow)! I am a huge fan of this totally inspiring online mag. the photographs, the styling, and the clever project ideas should inspire us all..so thrilled ...plus one of the editors owns the shop little bean with her vintage daywear for little tots....check it out!

i ate one, not knowing the name ..but seeing it on the shelves with everything else that looked sweet..so thinking it was going to have cinnamon sweetness inside.....i bit into a sponge with a mystery meat inside..pork buns scare me

Yesterday i attended the Blog Out Loud event in San Francisco, held at the store Belljar. I love that store, all its vintage inspired pieces, taxidermy on the walls and cool wallpaper set the scene for a great backdrop to the event. I was excited to meet some of my favorite bloggers ..like the one and only Cassandra from Coco and Kelley, and I got to meet Megan from Beachbungalow8. Plus some new ones like petunia face(she was hilarious!), and Belljar will be added too the daily reads! They are all pro's at this blogging thing, and gave us all lots of tid bits to help us all out.

So now I am thinking about the week and this photo title pretty much sums it up.."making sense of a total mess"..going to get it together this week..

p.s. i do love how she is in a cute dress while trying to figure things out..i think that helps sometimes ;)

today the weather forecast is thunderstorms..i hope so-- its the perfect day to catch up on magazines, movies, & eat breakfast in bed..

i own these lovely gladiators and they go with everything, they have the softest straps..will be wearing these into the fall transition too..with my fav jeans and poets blouse..
