look at how anne, of The City Sage, posted full lifestyle boards around the Rikshaw Kurtas! I am beyond flattered and she has such an eye and flair...there are more check it out here.

If I could look as cute as that girl I would totally sport a scarf on my head! And I agree, love the pouf. Need one, no two in my life.
ReplyDeleteThe poufs and the scarves sound perfect! xx
ReplyDeleteShannon, you are THAT cute, sport on with your cute self! And Catherine, you are too! But don't cut the locks, it finishes the look.
ReplyDeleteAmy Butler has a fabulous pattern for a poof! I vote for backing some Rikshaw block print and making one. Break out that Singer and stitch one doll! Then wrap a scrap around that noggin' :)
Love the poufs! Cute idea for in front of your fireplace :) and the scarf on the head can be so chic!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the city sage boards!!! BTW, Alexis from Fern and Feather gave me the heads up about your lovely blog and amazing tunics. It's hard to find stylish tunics even in southern Cali. I'm thrilled about yours and will be grabbing one soon!
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit of a pouf & scarf addict - you can never have too many of either! Love this and those city sage boards are fantastic!!
ReplyDeleteI blogged about wanting a John Derian pouf(im hoping my husband gets the hint), I too would love a gold one....

Love the Noggin comment champagne!
ReplyDeleteI think I have resisted the poufs cause they are $$$ but I need one
all of ur comments make my day!
I have the Amy Butler pattern...I have yet to make one, but this post might just serve as the inspiration that I need! Plus, we are on a tight budget & I am trying to feather my nest {I'm a momma & a newlywed!}
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean with the wearing the scarf around your head. I have a TON of vintage scarfs and I have yet to start- maybe next time I go to the beach...
ReplyDeleteGreat mention @ The City Sage, you are kicking butt!
Congrats,

Scarves in the hair is so perfectly boho chic ~ I just wish I could wear it as effortlessly as she does in the first image!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could pull off the head scarves like Nicole! You need to get a pouf, they're great. Not sure what possessed me to get white though with two kids. No bueno.
ReplyDeleteI just love your style! And yes lately I have been wondering why I don't have a gold poof. I mean really, I am obsessed with them.
ReplyDeleteI'll take one too, please.. was wondering the same thing myself.. why haven't i ordered one yet? Looks like all you gals had a blast! So fun!

Do you have a brother that use to thump you on your noggin'? I have one that still does...he's 51, I'm 50...what is wrong with him? Maybe he needs one of these: http://www.amybutlerdesign.com/products/patterns_display.php?id=31

Does NC need a trunk show? How about @ Cottage Chic...My friend Lisa and I would host!
Head scarves are so great for summer! I've been loving them since my honeymoon in Bali 6 years ago. White tee + jeans/shorts + scarf...done. I think it's time for you to design a few...hint.hint.
ReplyDeletecan anyone tell me where I could get a pouf?? I have been looking all over. Thanks so much!! and any suggestions for cheap ones would be appreciated!! I am moving out on my own for the first time and my taste exceeds my budge hehe.
ReplyDeleteThe gold ones are my favorite ... so chic. Great choice :)
