southern charm
a friend of mine brought this company, Old Try to my attention...and I am in love with these southern letterpress prints.
Not sure if you know, but i went to the university of alabama...seeing this yellow hammer brings back some good ole fun memories of some fantastic people i wish i ran into more often..
"ramma jamma, yellow hammer give 'em hell alabama"...this was yelled at the football games..makes me laugh thinking about gallettes bar and widespread panic days..ahh college
started by a couple based in Boston, but from North Carolina + Alabama...these are their "love letters to the south"

back to school
we are having some serious fog at the end of our summer..which gets me thinking of fall..
got a "back to school" haircut scheduled, cleaning out the closet of everything i didn't wear this year, organizing summer photographs for developing, and just got some yummy army green suede wedges..

my gluten free back to school snack..these actually don't taste like dirt.. i ate during the cleanse and I will continue.

i have been a very big procrastinator this summer and its time i focus
its been an incredible summer
no more fruity drinks, laying in the sun, swimming in the water,taking naps, traveling....
i need to work work work on my line for next year...(lots of fun stuff in store!)
or it will never get done!
i plan to pop over now and then

relaxin
looking forward to some quiet down time this weekend...summer is winding down, no more travel for me (for a little bit). Its been an amazing summer---time in the south on warm sunny beaches and time in the mountains by the beautiful lake...going to do some yoga, garden, putter around the house, watch movies, eat healthy...hope you have a great one!
and on the subject of chillin out this weekend..Tristan Prettyman's blog and music always does it for me..enjoy!

lake time
well folks...headed to the lake for some relaxation and hanging out with nature..
excited for hikes, bikes, braving the cold water, cool nights, watching jumby play to exhaustion..
summer...it really is the best, have a great weekend!
