loving our new home page, its a fresh start on a new month!
every now and then i have time to read the comments from our customers on their orders, here is one we got today, it made my day...and great suggestion on the booti in green-will do that for sure!

i used to always think i was a light/airy bedroom gal, until i saw these pics
the dark walls are chic and cozy, and feel like a modern hotel.
your bedroom should be your sanctuary...as Oprah says!
maybe i will do it in the bathroom or over in my kitchen desk area, i love how the art pops against it!

hi to whomever is still checking this blog...
i have found it really hard to get over here to chat with you lately. makes me sad that i dont have the time to check in more often.
life has been busy, went back home for easter had a trunk show, hung with my nieces and nephews-they are getting too big!, went bowling, drank too much, ate yummy southern food..gained weight!, didnt sleep great, bonded with the fam.
now back home and work is busy busy---i think springtime is almost here to stay. i attempted to try running the other day ---feels good to sweat like that, but i cant get the breathing down!
this weekend will involve pulling some weeds, eating some snap peas from our garden, attempting to run again -ugh, do some yoga, make a veggie lasagna for a friend...
here are random thoughts that are swirling in my head:
thinking about the summer veggies to plant
a long skirt with a tee is necessary this season
need this on a gallery wall i am working on
kitchen inspiration: dark cabinets, brass hardware, awesome tile

rikshaw around town
how much do i love the Rapunzel's Closet team!
their store is in Palm Beach Florida, and did a photo shoot for their blog..i adore how they styled the Rikshaw line...very boho! above is our Jharna camp shirt in violet one of my fav's!
(is it me or at first glance she resembles Rachel Zoe? must be the sunglasses--anyone watching this season? the germiphobe, hovering mom in 7" heels makes me cringe..put on some flip flops and let Sky eat a crayon!)

i highly recommend watching this movie Big Easy Express a film by Emmett Malloy. If you like Mumford & Sons, Old Crow Medicine Show, and Edward Sharp + Magnetic Zero's, you will like this documentary. Traveling by train from Oakland to New Orleans playing music along the way, sort of wish we travelled by train more.
lots of good tunes, talented musicians, incredible landscapes and beards.

exhausted and plan to loaf all weekend! i am feelin yuck...a cold is lurking.
