a bit bewildered

i need sooo badly to get out in my garden and re-plant all my pots..literally dead herbs in them..yuck! i just wish it was more fun than it is..sometimes i get all excited and go to the nursery and buy it all up..then lug it all home ..and then stare at it..i need to know what won't die? no seriously pots are so hard for me b/c i am terrible about watering them..
those of you with a green thumb i am jealous..i wish i had more of one...any advice would be wonderful.

btw..trader joes has daffodil bunches for $1.29 ! and redunc deal on the ranunculus!

I have the same problem with planting in pots...I can never seem to keep whatever it is that I plant in them ALIVE! Plus, I have the same problem of loving buying all the plants to go in them, but not totally loving the planting part. So, this year, I decided to go w/ succulents. They are drought tolerant, multiply pretty rapidly, are perennials, and are super cute, too! I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that these last for awhile!
