so i was asking my mom..give me some old school things she used to wear...and the list started..pappagallo shoes, mcmullen blouses, penny loafers..she seriously was Sandy from Grease!and then i remembered bermuda bags!!! my sis had so many monogrammed un-monogrammed..seersucker, madras, embroidered turtles..gosh these were the best!
how funny is this shot from the upcoming SATC2, back in time story line..look at the tretorns and that lily AND her bermuda bag!!!

I love these bags! I had so many cute covers to change-corduroy, monogrammed, pique--such memories!
totally had those bags..monogrammed. the monogrammed sweaters from The Limited, the plaid headbands, Gloria Vanderbilt jeans in every color, Calvin Klein jeans, and the Preppy Handbook :)
I wore nothing but Tretons! I had still wish I hadn't got rid of my Lily patchwork wrap. So beautiful! Our Pappagallo shop was adorable. And the shop across the street sold Bernardo sandals. Still love those. Apple green corduroys...oh yes. With a lemon yellow cable knit crew neck sweater. Divine!
Where did your mother live? I was raised outside of Charlotte, NC and what she described was everything I had.
