man crush: rob machado
So we all saw the beautiful spread in June Issue of Vogue with the bodacious bombshell Blake Lively surfing in Southern California...I do want to put all those pics of her up on my refrigerator..as torture..her body is INSANE!...ok enough about that..I mostly couldn't get over this h.o.t. surfer dude she was with..big curly hair, hot bod, tan bod, and beautiful eyes..well i don't know much about the surfer world but Rob Machado is a world champion surfer and after further research..here is a film he is starring in, out this fall called The Drifter (trailer above) ..it looks like the man version of Eat, pray love..i will be checking this out..he is eye candy and seems like a sweet soul..

I was just flipping through the June Vogue last night - it was the photo of her in the white bikini that really made me feel like I needed to get to the gym...PRONTO!

i live by encintas/cardiff (north county san diego) where the vogue shoot took place. i actually saw rob machado during part of the shoot, and had no clue it was for vogue. his house is in cardiff and he is always out. i see him everywhere! it wouldn't be hard to meet him at all if you are ever in town. also, a friend of a friend rents part of his house. (he lives in an amazing house oceanfront of course)...super dreamy....
Well now..that's a surfing movie I might actually enjoy!! And if you get a date you will have to blog about it! Maybe I better come along as a chaperone.

yes, alexis lives very close to me in the same town and i just adore her and her blog! and i believe RM IS in fact single, or at least that is the word on the streets. come visit, and me, you and alexis can go knock on his door! HAHA

Grace & Catherine you two are so funny!!!! I can't stop laughing! I'm sure Alexis {Fern & Feather} knows him because of Ross {her husband}. Catherine you would LOVE our little beach town... It's so beautiful {the men} here! I have a crush on surfer Benjie Weatherly. Oh my gosh he came in to my store & I froze. It was hysterical. Google him... He lives in our little town, Encinitas!!!!!!

haha...i'm loving this comment thread!!!! catherine alex is so right, the surfer boys here are all gorgeous. as a matter of fact, everyone here seems to be! it's kinda crazy, but so true! if/when you come visit, we will have a blogger party! Alexandra, Alexis, Melissa (seagrass interiors blog/works at rustic rooster) and I are all friends so it would be a PARTY! just one thing to keep in mind though...june is known as june gloom, so come any month after that!
