vacay...FINALLY!

who wouldda thought..that a blog post here could create a fun weekend away..well it did! I can hardly wait..I am heading down to so-cal, specifically cardiff by the sea, for some long overdue r&r, meeting fantastic gals, watching surfers from afar, sand in the toes, massage at the spa, and a trunk show with champagne and cupcakes..can we say perfect weekend?!
grace from the fabulous blog grace happens, has organized the trunk show..have you seen her house (kitchen above)..droooool-worthy!! plus we are both virginian's?! crazy small world!
this is where i will be lodging..i can hear the ocean from here...ahhhhhhh

and alexis, from fern and feather, is getting my must-do list together, she put an entire 'what to eat list for the area', which i will try and tackle...see here

oh, very very jealous! i'm imagining the sounds of the ocean too - we stayed at L'Auberge in March and it was absolutely wonderful! have a great time!
What a thrill!!!! The trunk show - with cupcakes and champagne (i think I could subsist just on that!), ocean breezes and time with friends. What more could you ask for? I'll be wishing for a gorgeous sunset just for you! Enjoy!!!

watch out cardiff by the sea.... Catherine's on her way... and when I say 'cardiff by the sea' I mean hot surfer boys... ha ha!!
so excited to see you... I will be at L'auberge for a cocktail and to pick you up around 5... the babysitter gets here at 4:30 so it might be a little earlier {if all goes at planned}.
