they're back!

just so you all can see proof, that i have been "into block-print" for a long time..yep that would be me grinning with my cool t-shirt that i had in so many patterns cuts, all bought from the picket fence in richmond, va..those were the days..i would usually pair it with a Guatemalan belt (remember those?!) but this time i am wearing a groovy fanny-pack..ahh jeeze i look swell..

is it gross to tell you guys that i still have some of these 'lost shirts' that i wear to bed , they are so soft!..
..then i came across some updated ones from none other than Calypso..we are best friends..and i could pair it with this cute elephant belt! time to update..

I'm so bummed I was too young to fully participate in the fanny pack craze. You are my hero. xx

additional fodder: it's 1991, we're in LA. and important to note is that neither fanny packs, nor jcrew polka dot shorts, nor absolut lacrosse t-shirts, nor scrunchies on the wrist have made a style resurgence ... yet your block print tee has. you were onto something girl, onto it! xxx, lc.

oh, yes, the "geeta" cotton print shirts! loved them :) I still have one too, circa 1988, I think.
