oldie but goodie

do you ever get obsessed with checking a store for something, and its never there..
ummm that would be me with checking in at whole foods every week to see when kombucha is back on the shelves...and this darn ikat ORANGE bowl from Anthropologie...what the heck?..it has gotten so much editorial praise you would think they would re-stock it and keep it coming...in fear of missed sales...i know you are thinking, "catherine, its just a bowl"
but isn't it pretty?

I know exactly what you mean...Jonathan Adler's white bird bowl stalks me! Always ends up in some perfectly styled vignette just teasing me with its $85 price tag. Someday...I'll find the extra cash...although I'm sure that by then it will be extinct. :(
I just bought the orange, blue and green ikat bowls on sale at an Anthropologie store in Chicago last week! I had been hunting for them forever also and of course there they were on the sale table for $7.95 each! You should call up other Anthro stores, I bet they have some hidden somewhere! Good luck!
I thought of y'all yesterday. There are two on sale at the Atlanta (Perimeter Mall) store, too. I almost got them for ya! 7.95 as well. Julie
Gorgeous! I think this might be the perfect pop of orange my house needs. Hope the Anthro near me has some! On sale would be even better.
