sunday sentiments

i am giving you sunday sentiments..even though it is monday..
just got back from the big ole lonestar state of texas...and here is my recap:
everyone i met was so outgoing and friendly and the 'pop-up shop' that Christine and Joslyn did was out of this world..it was precious! pictures to come..
then on to austin to see some old friends and check it out..
i loved cruising congress street and seeing hotel san jose, Stag, and found some hilarious cards at Uncommon Objects
i literally had the best mexican of my life at Zocalo..seriously i was having 'a moment' as i like to call it when i was digging into the queso..i couldn't talk..it was that good.
then went and took a dip at this place called Barton Springs..i felt like i was in france in 1992..sort of an odd experience, people watching galore..and best of all the water was insanely refreshing!
after a busy busy weekend..i am home to a house full of boxes (a big shipment came in), a fun photo shoot to plan, laundry galore, and a precious chubby lab that doesn't realize we are in "lock-down" starting tomorrow which means...boot camp in full swing and eating veggies and protein..
its a beautiful day and i am happy to be home, i love my little life out here in california..

Sounds like a fantastic weekend!! I haven't eaten at Zocalo yet - will have to check it out next month when I'm back home (funny - I just looked at their website and realized that it's in the same building as a really yummy vegetarian restaurant that I waited tables at during college!)
