news + need some decorating tips!
i am moving folks! so i am a bit overwhelmed at all i gotta get done. bare with me!
ohh and i need some decorating advice...
-a good grey paint color?
-what do you recommend painting indoor steps..i want a fun color!
-any of you have a chicken coup? i am wanting one!
-follow me on pinterest you will see my pins have become much more "home" focused
i will have so many more questions...as this house will be a little project of love...ohh and its a spanish style..adore!

We have had a chicken coop and six chickens for almost two years, and we love our girls. They are amazing, sweet, fairly low maintenance little critters. I highly recommend checking out the Backyard Chickens website:

Also, there is an amazing book by Ashley English called Keeping Chickens. It is basically my chicken bible, a definite must read before you start the process.
Yes! Blue is a great idea. If you do it, I'll pin it. Haha!
I use Restoration Hardware's grey . Slate hues for blue toned greys and Flint hues for brown toned greys.
A great grey paint color is Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter. Congratulations on your new home!

Benjamin Moore Stonington Gray - PERFECT color
Congratulations! Spanish/Mediterranean homes are my favorite. Beware of the greigy greys! They can be so cold. Perhaps a warmer, brighter choice? Check out SW 6148 Wool Skein by Sherwin Williams. Perfect neutral if interested in doing fun pops of color. For the stairs, white risers with med to dark stained treads. Or why not take advantage of the Spanish style and do gorgeous Mexican tiles on the risers? Good luck!

Farrow & Ball Lamproom Grey and Downpipe are the BEST greys!! I have both in my house and love them so, so much!!!! My steps inside are painted Downpipe as well as the walls of my pantry-a nice dark grey! I'm loving navy right now too that could be a fun color for steps!!!
