i did come back with the worst cold of the year..been laid up sneezing and coughing my lungs out, i am trying to get rested and well....next week is our big photoshoot!! its going to be amazing, the crew, models are so great!! and then we are launching all our new fun spring /summer online beginning of march!! whoohoo!

i am behind....very behind folks..everything is cramming up on me in the next few weeks and i have to focus, and get it all done/photographed/launched/shipped!

today, i plan on stuffing my face with as many pretty sweet treats as i can find!

i am obsessing on adding a little neon to my everyday. i have already painted my nails a bright red/orange..really wanted the above pink! and i am enjoying watching my fingers type with my nails done, feel like less of a mess..new resolution perhaps?

i bought the neon orange running shoes below..they are SO comfortable and i think they may glow in the dark! hoping for a little extra effort now that i have new trainers!

even though its super sunny here in CA--i know we are spoiled..i am realizing i am a warm weather gal, and if its cold i want to be in a snowy village somewhere..in the meantime i am going to add neon whenever i can, it reminds me of summer sunshine!

we are moving to a new office!!! and hiring (more on that later)!!

i have been hammering on and on about this and it's happening!! it really is!

i have been an emotional wreck about all this change as well..i adore change and usually thrive on it when it's in motion..but there is something about change that gets me all teared up and want to stop and think about why i started this little biz in the first place...because it's not going to be the same as its been for the past 3 years.

i started it because i had something i wanted to create..even if i only sold one piece of it. I wanted to make my mark in that one person's room, then i would feel satisfied. also, i remember thinking how intimidating it would be to sell to stores..Oh no..they would be so judgemental ect..and then my first account gobbled up the line and has remained a loyal store ever since! its funny how your fears just dwindle away..

i have loved having this business, even though the hours have been long and the schlep unbearable at times. It's clearly ready for more space physically and creatively. as it's growing, i wanted to take a moment and thank you for reading this blog, re-blogging about rikshaw product, leaving me encouraging comments, buying product, sending me photographs of you and your family in the product, and of course giving me endless hours of inspiration that i get from your lives. You have been my everyday wake-up call and it has meant more than you know.

well folks..going off the grid for a bit..heading to Nicaragua! the plan is to hang on the beaches, learn to squat on a surfboard, and napping in a hammock..looking forward to completely unwind

will be back in a week...i hear the ocean calling..

i just realized that i will miss the wedding as i fly through the night...ohh well i am sure there will be playbacks non-stop..everyone enjoy it ! cheerio!

kevita..i like this version of coconut water because it has effervescence in it, so its more soda like! it is on the sweet side.

buy any of these hair products at your local drugstores and you will smell like the beach.

haven't met a coconut cupcake i didn't like.

i think if i didn't have friends who loved to plan things, my weekends would consist of no plans and just organically happen..i am a terrible planner, procrastinator

maybe i just have busy weeks and i tend to sloooow it down to nothing on the weekends..and then feel weird for not making any plans....go play catherine!

i will recharge and get it together for fun stuff next week.

-book summer travel..usually wait until the last minute

-burn some playlists for my family i have been meaning to do

-purge magazines..
