wednesday random
Everyone who knows me knows I am obsessed with candies and sweets in general. But did you know I recently bought a cotton candy machine? Oh, and I am obsessed with it!
I used to cover lingerie in my former life as a fashion editor. I think that if someone told me I had to design a collection right now, it would be a lingerie line, very girly and very sexy.
My toes must always be painted and look perfect, but my finger nails are never done. I hate color on my nails and don't have the patience to sit and have a manicure (how would I read my magazine at the nail salon with the working on my hands??).
I love Los Angeles but often think about the fact that I could never live there because I always associate warm, sunny weather with vacation and I don't think I'd get any work done.
If I could drive any car right now I'd choose a vintage Wagoneer. Navy with the faux wood paneling preferably. (But Sam insists I drive a safe car. Not that I'm complaining about my car, mind you!)

wednesday random
i have recruited a few fav bloggers to help me out with my "wednesday random series"..First up is the incredibly talented Erika, from Small Shop ...her blog is total eye candy!!
Obviously over the moon that Catherine asked me to share a few "random" images! I've been saving a few here and there, and turns out, not as random as I thought -- more like a visual journal you go back to and realize what's been on your mind. Seeing a theme here...

which one are you?
well holiday season is around the corner, here is my issue....i need to know what to order?
i usually go for a glass of wine and then later want something else..and thats when the mixing becomes involved or a glass of bubbly..and lets just say the next day..you don't want to talk to me..i am horrible! and usually first in line at in-n-out burger...
its the bar cocktails that stump me...i wish i liked a scotch on the rocks..but i usually go for a mojito or one of those specialty cocktails but that involves sugar...ohhh that sugar crushes the head the next day..
so if you are a libation gal...which one are you? whats your signature cocktail of choice?

lets talk functional boots..

the llbean boot is making a major comeback..and i gotta say i am diggin it..the lace up + ruggedness with tight jeans..plus some of these are lined with sheepskin for coziness! my brother and all his "hot" prepsters friends used to wear these, i used to swoon..
now they have left prepster and are more 'old school vintage..'

or do you go for the hunter wellies...loving the brits these days..i do love a rugged rain boot..and kate rocks them at all the festivals...plus you can just hose them down..
so tell me do you go american with the llbean boot or british with the hunter wellies..?

i am a big fan of naps..i often get laughed at when i speak of my love for naps..but it works for me it could be 20 mins- 1 hour..and i am refreshed, not slagging..i don't think a nap is an indulgence, its essential for me to function..and many Europeans agree! maybe i should move to where siestas are required?

do you bootie or boot?
i am desperate for a pair of booties..i can't decide with laces or without? i love tights and tights with booties make me feel little girlish..but but with a sexy edge..right? too many options!
who doesn't have a pair of tall boots..i got the equestrian ones, and the beat up frye ones..but i am thinking maybe a tall suede pair? or do i dare and venture over the knee boots?
which ones do you fancy...?
