in honor of eat, pray, love opening this week....(cannot wait!)
i ask you..where would you go? a paid for trip to either italy, india, or bali..
the goal would be to soak up all the country has to offer..

italy would consist entirely around eating, walking the cobblestone streets, gasping at the old architecture..and having cute boys like the one above saying "bella" to you as you walk by!

India would consist of enjoying the sweet people, the beautiful textiles, having plenty of time to take yoga and meditate in the jungles with monkeys in the trees..and of course a special moment of love with an elephant..

indonesia ...specifically Bali i think of as warm, relaxing, and therapeutic..thats all thats on the agenda..

Love this post...can't wait for the movie. (But I loved the book so....usually I don't love the movies as much....but sometimes!) I have to say Italy...for the architecture, fashion, people, and food.

I am probably more "Italy" than anything, but being that I've spent so much time there I'm currently pining for "India." The colors there can't be beat! I think you need to be my personal tour guide...

hey girls..milk&honey..i hear you i am nervous the movie won't live up to the book..its like i am a crazy twilight fan but with this book instead!

my choice is Bali..why? because i haven't had a summer at all with crazy work and horrible foggy weather..so i want to vegggg on the beach, and meet the medicine man who will tell me where i am headed next..

and katie if you ever need India hints..i would be happy to help you its a spiritual place!xox

I think I would choose Indonesia. I've done Italy and would absoltuely go back but, time for something new! For me, India would require a lot of stength and courage, which I have but, I'm looking for peace of heart and mind, and Bali would bring that! x Emily

already have a girls' night out planned to see this...can't wait either. i don't want to have to choose between countries, but if i did, i think it would have to be italy first. and then india, and then bali. ha. xx

What a hard decision! I am with you on wanting sun though. I live in Northern CA, and seriously, what is going on with the weather? Where is our summer?
I have a fascination with India, and I'm studying textile design, so a trip to India really would be perfect.
Great post! I can't wait to see this movie!

bali! i've been to italy, and am still in summer mode. india sounds magical as well though.

I love Italy but since I've already been I'd have to say India - completely fascinated with the people, colors, textiles, etc - it seems like a riot for the senses!

it's between italy or india. but i think i'll choose italy ;) (but wouldn't refuse india, though!) the european scene will be different from my daily scene here cause i'm living in indonesia as well. and been to bali for 2-3 times :) bali is fun. i love bali. anyway, you should check my friend's site: www.indohoy.com for indonesian's beauuutiful unseen places ;)
