elephant love

i wish i had images of me like this with an elephant..
i am looking forward to seeing this film..reese looks exquisite in the latest issue of Vogue..

(side note--i have a real bad taste in my mouth about how elephants are treated at circus's ...actually i am just not into zoos or a circus's in general...so hopefully it won't ruin the movie for me..)

I can't wait for the movie to come out! Have you read the book?

I agree -- we loved riding on elephants and watching them perform in Thailand, until I saw a show about how they can be trained. Very sad. Then the time we saw the tiniest baby elephant that belonged to a temple in Chennai, India -- at 5-feet tall, I was taller than this elephant. They were so proud of it, it was going to grow up to be the temple elephant. They said it was taken from its mom in Assam. I wish I could have snuck it out in my suitcase and taken it back to its mom.

I feel the same. Have a love for elephants that makes me hate the circus. I want to be in those images. Quite jealous!

I'm so happy the bad taste in your mouth wasn't because of Robert Pattinson =) I'm so excited to see that movie!

I was afraid of this also. Has anyone heard how the animals are in this movie? Everything ok for them?

the book is amazing - kind of nervous for the movie to be honest... it's just such a great book and sometimes that's hard to translate to the screen!

I feel terrible, I blogged on this last week (after yours). So sorry! Feeling a little copy cat-ish. Not intentional of course!

These images are gorgeous. That elephant is so beautiful. The texture/pattern on her skin knocks my socks off.
