step aside martha..
jenny from my little green notebook..really blows me away with her transformations she does with a bottle of glue and spray paint...seriously check her out its amazing!picture above is grasscloth shades she made, orange croc tack paper, and painted the side rails gold...plus look at the exquisite framing she did with the ribbon...it looks like embroidery!
i'm a fan! now i need to get motivated and spruce up something in my home!

the perfect day
the fabulous Sadie, from the rikshaw team, told me about the weekend sherpa..I am loving this site, you can search by activity (hike, bike, relax, get away) and by california region and you can sign up to receive their newsletters which tells you seasonal things to do..So yesterday Jumby and i headed to point reyes, and went to the best beach Limantour Beach. This stretch of pristine beach, not a single scrap of trash, beautiful blue waves and people horseback riding on the beach (it was Jumby's first time seeing a horse, i think she thought it was a dinosaur!) Then afterwards headed into cute point reyes station, where they were having a climate control rally, so i listened to a few speeches, then headed to cowgirl creamery and picked up some yummy food.The drive was so beautiful will fall foliage, cows grazing the fields, good music playin, it was a perfect day. here is the link to the activity we did..thanks sadie..next up "the perfect mt tam hike".

this weekend, i am going to try and find an organic apple picking farm to head to this weekend and come home and make home-made apple sauce..
then i am going to attempt to nibble something interesting in my yummy crisp apple..isn't this amazing!
got apples on the brain it started with my new apple phone..now i am on to the real thing..

i am sort of having a massive girl crush on, tory. I don't even own her famous ballet flats with her logo...its her website..i can be on it for hours..

3-look at all the inspiration of all her seasons, this fall was military above
4-then her best dressed list featuring people with impeccable style
5-then end and check out her "tory entertains" to see what party she is throwing the invite she would use and the menu she would have..
i just love how you feel... like you are stepping into her life and getting a privileged peak..and what a FABULOUS life it is..

happy birthday my lovie!
seriously i can't even put into words how much i adore my girl, jumby...so i am not going to even try (if i do i might be in tears all day)..she is my joy and my baby..i love her more than all the stars in the sky...she is six today and we are having a pup party at the park with all her friends and i am gonna get a dog cake!

calling for showers
the bay area is getting hit with its first big storm of the season..and the news is all a flutter! i have been preparing all day today (like i said in yesterdays post..my house is getting cozy) i have a big pot of home-made soup made, layered up my bed, changed some cushions on the couch..i am actually looking forward to watching the rain wizz by..
most countries just deal..even if its a monsoon!
who knows.. maybe this will happen..
