'ohh baby its cold outside'
fall is here and its time for layers...cozy-time..love it!
this season its all about the infinity scarf, snood (scarf+hood), eternity scarf, tube scarf...whatever you want to call it.
here are some of my favorites out there:

i just bought this one from JCrew..you can't really tell in the image..it has gold flecs in it!

leopard is all the rage these days..and to be honest when researching for this post..i was quite frightened..as a little goes a LONG way people..and its all about the way it is styled..

fall is here

its fall and it feels like layers, warm drinks, and a good book..the seasons really affect me, i am not ordinarily a big reader but when it gets cold outside it makes me want to cuddle in blanket and be quiet..i am reading girls guide to hunting and fishing (never read it), and its making me laugh..would love some other recommendations?
i also want to cook more, love a fall harvest meal full of root veggies or a big pot of homemade soup..
do you change seasonally like me?

to cut or not cut
while i am on the 'new year, new me' kick.. (september is new year for me see earlier post)
when i saw this ad for Madewell with 'it-girl' alexa chung..made me stop and re-think the long locks..plus the bangs are doing it for me...
more gorgeous alexa chung from marie claire, would like to have both of the above outfits..
or..
do i keep the locks long...this ad for ann taylor loft is pretty beautimous! if i keep i am gonna do this trend of dark roots with golden tips..saves me $$$ at the salon..

happy fall weekend!
this weekend, i am going to try and find an organic apple picking farm to head to this weekend and come home and make home-made apple sauce..
then i am going to attempt to nibble something interesting in my yummy crisp apple..isn't this amazing!
got apples on the brain it started with my new apple phone..now i am on to the real thing..

calling for showers
the bay area is getting hit with its first big storm of the season..and the news is all a flutter! i have been preparing all day today (like i said in yesterdays post..my house is getting cozy) i have a big pot of home-made soup made, layered up my bed, changed some cushions on the couch..i am actually looking forward to watching the rain wizz by..
most countries just deal..even if its a monsoon!
who knows.. maybe this will happen..
