sailing
ahoy! friends.. I hope you all had a splendid weekend..I did something i have never done this weekend ...went sailing on the bay! it probably was the prettiest day ever on the most beautiful boat..i saw things about this part of the world i live in that i have never seen before..it was chilly at parts but super sunny and really amazing being out on that salt water! it was a learning experience too..i learned that they aren't called "ropes" they are called "lines" and we did things like 'tack' where the boat is literally sideways and we turn around..it was so fun!speaking of sailing..i found these cute deck shoes..i love how they are preppy without being perfect..they have that worn in look..now i need to decide between the metallic ones or the navy ones..found here

summer thoughts

i guess summer is "officially" here, i have been celebrating it earlier this year for some reason..i had to post the image above, it so reminds me of me. i was the kid with the goggles, that would dive for pennies, sink under everyone and swim by them like some sort of weird eel, and go touch the drain, get freaked out and hurry up to the top so i wasn't sucked in by some scary monster.
the best story was when my mom would come searching for me to go home and i would literally sit on the bottom of the pool looking up at her, in her shift dress and her dr.scholls, pointing at me to get out of the pool, it would take awhile but i would finally have to come up for air, all pruned skinned and water logged..good times..no wonder i am an aquarius.

seaton seahorses
seaton is a store i ran into a couple of years ago in la on melrose and fell in love with their logo and beachy feel clothes..the t-shirts are that vintage super soft cotton, the terry is soft, i bought a gauzey dress i wear all the time and spent way too much on... now its on sale for $40!
i am not sure what is going on in terms of if they are staying in biz..because their sale prices are AMAZING! check it out!!
